Gal*Gun 2 - undecided on HD Rumble, will use gyro sensor, no plans to censor the localized version

A portion of a Gematsu interview with Inti Creates chief executive officer Takuya Aizu, senior designer Masanori Ito, and producer and localization director Matt Papa...

G: For the Switch version, is there any intention to utilize the console’s unique features such as the HD Rumble?

Takuya Aizu: “For HD Rumble, we don’t want to just add it for the sake of it, but if we find a way for it to make sense in the Gal Gun experience, then we definitely will. We will make use of the gyro sensor, however.”

G: Since Gal Gun: Double Peace was banned in New Zealand, I was wondering if there are any plans to change or “censor” content for certain regions?

Takuya Aizu: “As Japanese developers, when we make games we do so for the Japanese audience we know the most first. If some country like New Zealand has to ban it, well, sorry. Anyway, the localization is up to PQube.”

Matt Papa: “We’re not going to change or censor the game. Personally as the localization director, I don’t censor anything and I have no intentions of doing so this time around either. So if New Zealand comes around with the ban-hammer again, sorry in advance to New Zealand.”

Kinda funny how Doom will not use it, but this and RE:R will.

Still can't comment if it's a feature that is hard or easy to implement. Considering Doom's gameplay has more depth to it's gunplay.

However, one of the other Bethesda games, Skyrim, is using motion/gyro in a number of ways.

man, i just hope switch version is 60fps. the ps4 and vita got a game and the vita played poorly.

New Zealand sounds terrible.

Well NZ is pretty at least

They could get a digital version.
Just need to change their account location on the eShop website.

If they want a physical copy, I'm sure they could simply import it from Australia.

Region free BANZAI!!!

Is there anything scandalous about this game? I thought it was just goofy shooting girls with love beams or something.

Going by what OpRa discussed of the first; A lot of upskirt and panty shots. Nothing too risque, per se, just par for the course of odd Japanese games.

Well, there was some DLC feature that allowed the player to see through clothes to the underwear. When it came to swimsuits, the naughty bits were just barely hidden...

#GOTY (2018?) Even the Vita version didn't use Gyro or touch screen in the main game, so this is incredible.

I had no idea what this game was, so I looked it up. It is so weird that they implemented a feature so that you can press a button to disguise the game as an RPG in case someone walks in on you playing it.

lol what? That sounds hilarious

It's referred to as a 'panic button'. I think the premise of the game is something like shooting 'pheromone arrows' at horny schoolgirls.

Rats on the HD Rumble, but makes sense since the Senran Kagura guy is still trying to figure out that technology.

Gyro control is much appreciated for a game like this. The Japanese seem to have gotten the memo, get with the times Western dudes!

Well the switch version just became the definitive version for me.

I really hope they find a way ti implement HD Rumble. I am so getting this silly game Smile
