Super Mario Odyssey street date broken by select retailers in Mexico

Looks like breaking the street date for Super Mario Odyssey is the thing to do! Apparently over in Mexico, retailers have been breaking the street date and selling the game since Friday! I wonder how retailers are getting the release date wrong for the Switch's biggest game of the year! Thanks to Damiga14 for the heads up.

Nintendo didn’t think it offends people. Stupid people got offended because they get offended on behalf of others.

The Nintendo ninjas are on their way. Next time Mexico will get a delayed release by a week too...

The last 2 times I visited Mexico were in October, of course the year i didn't go is when something like Odyssey's street date is broken lol

Maybe inadvertent revenge for the sombrero costume that Nintendo thinks offends people

The biggest crime here is that box art

Yet here we are us digital owners who can't even pre-load the fucking game even though Nintendo just implemented the feature yet no game supports it yet...also thanks to the street date being broken I was accidentally spoiled on the final boss as well as final kingdoms and costumes..

No wonder things never arrive on time to my area.
