25% of Telltale Games' workforce laid off
Not a very happy day at Telltale, as 25% of the company's staff has been laid off. Telltale Games CEO Pete Hawley had the following to say.
“Our industry has shifted in tremendous ways over the past few years. The realities of the environment we face moving forward demand we evolve, as well, reorienting our organization with a focus on delivering fewer, better games with a smaller team.”
Telltale made a point to say that the cutback in workforce will not impact the release date of any upcoming games.
