Reggie Fils-Aime had a sit-down interview with the gang at CNN about all things Nintendo. You can see bulletpoints from the conversation below, or check out the video for yourself here.

- goal is to keep momentum up
- when they have momentum going, they want to keep it going, and they feel a little pressure to do so
- when Nintendo launches games on mobile, they drive business back to their dedicated games business
- Nintendo doesn't believe their own mobile games are competing with their traditional content
- with Super Mario Run, Nintendo hasn't been able to generate Nintendo-like profits yet
- platforms like the NES/SNES Classic bring in customers interested in nostalgia, and newcomers alike
- Nintendo recognizes that their customers love all of this legacy content, but has noting to say about another "Classic" system
