Ubisoft has taken their sweet time with it, but Rayman Legends: Definitive Edition is indeed seeing release in Japan. The title is out on Feb. 22nd, 2018 and is priced at ¥5,184.
Yeah the "definitively NOT the Wii-U version" mmmmk
It's got 168 more Teensies than the Xbox One edition and more game modes, so not sure why you think it's not definitive.
You mean besides the massive loading times? The slightly blurrier graphics? The stutters? All because Ubisoft were cheapasses who compressed the game to hell?
The loading times are absolutely not "massive." Remember: I own both the X1 and Switch versions, so you can't complain about stuff you haven't experienced firsthand and convince me.
I own the Switch version, the load times are the worst of all ports and actually hamper the game's flow. Maybe you didn't play it at launch?
The graphics when viewed close up are slightly blurrier than any version, the game has shitty load times, and some missions have stutters on first run, ok to some these may all seem like minor complaints... but when it's both inferior to the Wii U version and comes with the temerity to be titled "definitive edition", it's just not good enough.
It's insulting to call this "definitive" on the box, and it doesn't live up to this title because Ubisoft is too big a lazy, cheapskate company to spring for an 8GB cart to fit the uncompressed game.
