New Features for Bayonetta 2 on the Switch

As Bayonetta 2 comes to the Nintendo Switch, it’s picking up a few extra features!
Local wireless cooperative play
The previously online-only coop Tag Climax is going local! Team up with a friend to take it on – online or off.
amiibo support
Bayonetta 2 for Nintendo Switch will support amiibo, including the Bayonetta amiibo from the Super Smash Bros. series.
Video capture support
Record gameplay videos, starting up to thirty seconds before you press the capture button. Share videos from your Switch’s Album to Facebook and Twitter to show the world your skills!

Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2 will be available separately on the Nintendo eShop in North America, Europe and Australia from February 16. Purchasing one will give you a discount on the other.

A packaged edition of Bayonetta 2 will also be available at retail stores and will include a download code for the digital edition of Bayonetta.

I'm hyped for amiibo support, but what I really want is anti-aliasing for both games.

“Ah you think anti aliasing is your ally? You merely adopted the aliasing. I was born in it, molded by it. I didn't see the light until I was already a man, by then it was nothing to me but blinding!”

no achievements - inferior to the xbox360 original.

Or you could enjoy the all new local co-op the 360 version lacks and save the achievements for real life. ;0)

you know, nintendo is rumored to be working on a similar system for the switch (too little too late but whatever) and I bet there would be NO negative comments once it is announced.

sorry, achievements leveraged microsoft reducing piracy (get a bloody hint nintendo - removing the browser was pure idiocy) and provided a very simple way to instantly check what my friends play and how much they have played each game. No one can see that you finished grandmaster galaxy for instance and no it's not just for bragging rights. But people who never bothered with it can not understand its use.

Meh, seems like a lazy port to me.

Local co-op for Bayonetta 2 is AWESOME, I really missed that on the WiiU

It's cool that they are adding these new features! Can't wait to play!

I love that the entire trilogy is coming to Switch. Nintendo and P* make me so happy. Another reason Iwata was the man: he struck up this partnership and believed in the dev and their IP, at a time when no other publisher was giving the proposal a second glance.
