Trüberbrook’s Kickstarter Campaign entering the final straight

GN Version 5.0

The Kickstarter Campaign of Trüberbrook has been extremely successful so far: the financing target of €80,000 was reached after only 30 hours - to the great delight of the developers btf and us, the future publisher of the game. At this point we would like to thank all of you who supported the game on Kickstarter. We are very thankful that Trüberbrook can be released next year, thanks to your help!

We have prepared some exclusive Stretch Goals: An additional playable chapter, new Lore Items and a "handmade" soundscape have already been unlocked by the supporters. A second bonus chapter and a making-of video on the unusual development process of the game are still within reach. This is one of the reasons why we are still looking forward to your support. Right now, the counter sits at 180,000 €.

For the current Community Challenge we are also looking forward to further likes and followers on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube to unveil the winter "Secret Wallpaper" soon:

Trüberbrook received great feedback by the press. For example, RockPaperShotgun stated "...these hyper-detailed miniature sets, filled with character models carefully textured to look like claymation figures are on a whole different level. It’s an enticing visual hook.” and Geek Reply even wants the developers to reach the stars: “If Trüberbrook‘s gameplay and story is half as engrossing as its art style, the game just might be a contender for game of the year when it releases in 2018.”

Trüberbrook is produced by btf from Germany, mostly known for their infamous late night show “Neo Magazin Royale” in German TV with Jan Böhmermann. The game was co-funded by the Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg and will be published by Headup Games. The release is scheduled for late 2018 for Windows, Mac, Linux (all DRM free & via Steam), PlayStation®4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch in both English and German versions.

In order to immerse the player to the fullest, the team chose to physically build the world we envisioned, resulting in a unique, distinct visual style. All of our scenic sets are genuinely handmade. 'Handmade' as in: 'Manufactured using real hands! And fingers! Not the most efficient way of doing things, but we're loving it! Every little detail is custom built, meticulously crafted, piece by piece, painted, arranged, rearranged and put into boxes in between. If you were wondering...yes, there is glue involved. Lots of glue!'

Kickstarter Rewards

Backers can look forward to some great hand-picked rewards, like a limited, kickstarter-exclusive boxed edition filled with goodies as well as the opportunity to spice up your home with set pieces from the actual game. But first and foremost, the backers can expect an outstanding game in exchange for their support!
