Mega Man 11 - Everything known about the Robot Masters at this point

- 8 Robot Masters, which can be chosen from freely
- the Robot Master shown above was originally called Renga Man, which translates into Brick Man
- Brick Man isn't his official name, as that will be revealed later
- Capcom also said that out of all the robot masters, Renga Man was the most energetic and adored by Dr. Light
- discovering Robot Masters' weaknesses will be more intuitive this time around
- the right analog stick will be used to switch between Robot Masters' weapons
- one Robot Master attack allows Mega Man to create blocks that fall out of the sky
- another Robot Master attack is a powerful physical attack that transforms Mega Man's fist into a massive jackhammer spike
- this can also be used as a mid-air dash attack during platforming sequences
- Capcom says designing Robot Masters is tough, and it's a challenge to figure out which ones work well together
- the Robot Masters in Mega Man 11 were originally created by Dr. Light
- these Robot Masters were designed to include a mix of comical, mysterious, and serious designs
- the theme of each stage will better match up with each Robot Master
- Renga Man has a level that looks like an Egyptian desert, complete with a pyramid that looks like him
- most stages will allude to the boss at the end of the level in a similar style
- there will be no female Robot Master in Mega Man 11
- there was a female Robot Master at the concept stage, but she didn't make the cut
- one of Mega Man 11's Robot Masters features a construction theme
- the dev team came up with this design because there was a lot of construction happening around the studio at the time
