Pokemon news - Pokemon Hub Hong Kong opens, PikaPika Bags, Pokemon With You badges, Arceus distribution in Japan, Ice Cream collab, Team Rainbow Rocket campaign, Groom Me Please merch

Pokemon Hub, the first official Pokemon store in Hong Kong, has recently opened its doors. It's a pretty fancy looking place, and as you've probably guessed, there's a ton of merch to snatch up! If you want to see some more pics from Pokemon Hub, you can check out the official Facebook page.

Pokemon Center Fukubukuro (Lucky Bags)

- new set of Lucky Bags released each year
- contain a random assortment of official Pokemon Center plushies, T-shirts, mugs, and other products
- this year, each PikaPika Bag will come with a Pikachu, Alola Vulpix, or Rowlet mascot resting in a mini bag pack
- these are exclusively at Pokemon Center locations in Japan from January 1, 2018 for 3704 yen

Pokemon With You badges

- available Pokemon Centers in Japan on Dec. 23rd
- proceeds go to help victims of natural disasters in Japan
- each can badge costs 250 yen
- badges feature Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, Glaceon, Sylveon, Decidueye, Incineroar, Primarina, Togedemaru, and Bewear

Arceus distribution for Pokemon Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon

- due out in the February 2018 issue of CoroCoro comic
- redeem the CoroCoro Arceus on a Japanese region Pokemon Ultra Sun or Ultra Moon game
- February 2018 issue of CoroCoro comic launches January 15 in Japan

Pokemon Company/7-Eleven ice cream collaboration

- kicks off December 18, 2017
- purchase 2 pieces of eligible Meiji/Akagi brand ice-cream are entitled to receive one of four Pokemon clear files
- also get a serial code to redeem Casteliacone (an item that looks like ice cream) in Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon
- each 7-Eleven store will have 32 clear files

Team Rainbow Rocket campaign for Pokemon Centers in 2018

- campaign will take place between January 20 to March 11, 2018 and comprises of a four major parts
- Pokemon Centers/Stores in Japan will be distributing event Pokemon that belong to each villain part of Team Rainbow Rocket
- Pokemon that is given away will rotate every week at different locations
- distribution schedule includes:

Giovanni’s Nidoking
Maxie’s Crobat
Archie’s Mightyena
Cyrus’ Honchkrow
Ghetsis’ Cofagrigus
Lysandre’s Mienshao

- Team Rainbow Rocket villain cosplayers and Pikachu mascots will be at Pokemon Center locations every week
- villain and Pikachu that appears will be rotated each week
- Pokemon Center and Store purchases above 2000 yen will receive a Team Rainbow Rocket Pikachu message card
- the design cannot be chosen
- purchase 5 or more Pokemon TCG expansion packs (any series) and receive a complimentary Pokemon TCG promo card
- this card features one of the six Team Rainbow Rocket Pikachu and a Team Skull Boss Pikachu, given out at random
- two merchandise lines will be released at Pokemon Center and Amazon Japan in 2018
- the first features all of the Team Rainbow Rocket villains, while the second features the Team Rainbow Rocket Pikachu
