Composer Grant Kirkhope says Davide Soliani's tearful E3 moment is his favorite gaming memory of 2017
Looks like Grant Kirkhope and I are on the same wavelength. Mr. Kirkhope was asked to reflect on gaming in 2017 to come up with his favorite moment, and he picked the one I've been thinking about ever since it happened.
The highlight of 2017 was undoubtedly seeing Davide Soliani burst into tears when Shigeru Miyamoto said his name at the E3 Ubisoft press conference. I was sitting two seats across from Davide and it was such a heartfelt moment.
A moment of pure joy...something we don't usually get to see in the game industry. It's certainly a moment I'll never forget.
