In recent weeks, we've heard that the Switch has gotten a lot easier to find in Japan. Nintendo made a point to get as many units as they could out there for the holiday season, and this includes stock in Japan. Now one retailer has stepped forward with concrete data to confirm improvement in the stock situation.

GEO, a game retailer with 1,200 stores nationwide, says customers can now instantly purchase a Switch at 600 of its locations. Shipments of Switch hardware in December 2017 are 5 times of what was delivered between July and October 2017. Even the amount of customers trading in their Switch units has increased by a factor of 5.
