Save me Mr Tako submitted to Nintendo for approval, due out 'as soon as possible early this year'

First of all, a few words about when the game will be releasing. Nicalis expected to release it in 2017 at first, but the game has so much content that it took much longer than they originally expected to playtest it. We want to release the game as perfect as it can be, so we took the time to make sure everything worked perfectly on the Switch and PC. Now the game is going through Nintendo’s submission process, so it will be released as soon as possible early this year.

To thank you for your patience, here’s a surprise for you. Working with Nicalis, we’ve implemented a variety of screen display options. In addition to 16:9 widescreen mode and the classic 4:3 display, you can also play in “windowed” mode (in either aspect ratio) with 10 different backgrounds to choose from!

I’ll be revealing many other surprises in a series of posts I intend to write on this blog in the coming weeks. I also plan to write a “post mortem” after the game is released to tell you all about the game’s development and the journey that Mr Tako and I have taken.
