GN Version 5.0

France is full of Nintendo fans, and they've definitely come out of the woodwork for the Switch. With the platform doing super well, one might wonder how Nintendo thinks Nintendo Labo will perform in the country. Whiloe not super-specific, we do have details on the day-one launch allocations for both Nintendo Labo kits.

- 30k copies of the Variety Pack
- 15k copies of the Robot Pack

Those figures are all well and good, but we need something to compare them to. Here's the day-one allocations for some other Switch titles in France.

- Kirby Star Allies : 70k
- Bayonetta : 45k + 5k
- Dark Souls Remastered : 30k
- Dragon Quest Builders : 12k

When you look at these figures, you can see Nintendo is taking a cautiously optimistic approach. The Variety Kit is almost guaranteed to move more than the Robot Kit, as it includes more Toy-Cons and seems like a better value overall. We'll find out how things go once April rolls around!
