Blizzard says their recent tweet was not teasing a Switch announcement

Blizzard shared the tweet above on Feb. 28th, and a lot of people started thinking it had something to do with the Switch. I honestly didn't see a connection at all, or at most, I saw a very strained connection. I decided not to share the tweet back when it was posted, as I thought the speculation was a bit too off-base. I'm sharing it now because Blizzard has come through to say that the tweet was not meant to tease a Switch announcement.

“We can assure you we’re not that clever. [It was] meant to be a fun community engagement piece. We have nothing to announce.” - Blizzard spokesperson

Many were hoping the Tweet was teasing a Switch release of Diablo 3, but for right now, that seems like that's just speculation. We'll hang in there and cross our fingers for something official.
