GN Version 5.0

Another week, another surprising use for Nintendo Labo's Toy-Con. Today we're talking about the piano, and it has absolutely nothing to do with actually playing the piano.

One interesting tidbit about the Toy-Con piano is the ability to insert a piece of paper into a slot in the top, which is then scanned for shapes by the Joy-Con IR camera. You can cut some shapes into the paper and then get them scanned in for use in other experiences. Case in point, you can scan in designs to use in the fishing mini-game. The designs you cut are turned into unique fish shape, and then you can even use the piano keys to change the color of your fish. Then you fire up the fishing mini-game with the fishing rod Toy-Con, and catch the fish you just made!
