Add friends on Nintendo Switch directly from your Facebook and Twitter contacts (official PR)

Staying connected with all your gaming buddies just got a little easier with the latest system update* for Nintendo Switch. Now you can easily find friends and followers you know from Facebook and Twitter and add them to your Friend List on Nintendo Switch!

To get started, you’ll first need to link your Nintendo Account with your social media account. You can do this on your console by navigating to your profile page, then selecting “Friend Suggestions”. From there, select which social network account you’d like to link, press “Next”, and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process.

With your Nintendo Account and your social network accounts linked, you’ll start to see friend suggestions for users who are both in your social networks and have also linked their accounts. You never know, you might see some unexpected familiar faces in there!

Sending friend requests to friends and followers from Facebook and Twitter is a great way to find new opponents to challenge, or trustworthy allies to cover your back in one of the many exciting multiplayer games now available on Nintendo Switch.
