Funimation says they haven't "officially announced" their Switch streaming app
Fans, you may hear news announcing our FunimationNow streaming app on Nintendo Switch. To clarify, we haven’t made an official announcement. When there's anything official to announce, you’ll hear it from us first. Thanks for your enthusiasm as we work to get on the platform.

The news of Funimation making a Switch app spread like wildfire yesterday. Today, Funimation is backpedaling a little bit on the news. It seems they aren't quite ready to have that news out there, though. No idea what's really going on behind the scenes with this one. It does seem an app is in the works, but Funimation just wasn't ready for the announcement to get out to the public.
