What remains of Edith Finch won best game? Wow. Nearly every other nominee is vastly superior to it, what a joke.

Agreed. I can promise you without looking that that game must have been made by a British dev.

UPDATE: Nope, it ends up it wasn't. So whatever. Bad choice, BAFTA! You lost Stephen Fry, and then you lost your minds!

I'm really happy Ninja Theory got so many props for Hellblade.

Edith freakin' Finch as Game of the Year though?
Really? fucking REALLY?

I'm not even saying Nintendo should've won, just ANYTHING besides this artsy non-game crap

Seriously though, Zelda won enough.

I think Zelda: Breath of the Wild deserved every award it's gotten and yes even more so than Odyssey IMO which I think is the most overrated Mario game to date. I like the game it's a well made game but IMO it's nowhere near 64, World, and Galaxy levels of great both from a fun factor and game design factor.

I've never heard of Edith Finch, though looking at the trailers, I believe I've seen it before in some videos here or there. I don't know how deserving the game is of this award, but at the very least I can say it's refreshing to see something else get it for once

I'd normally be confused as to why a two hour long adventure game would be GOTY worthy but then again it's at least not yet another award for BOTW so I'll take it (Though I think Night in The Woods is the better adventure game as there's more to it and the characters are more relatable)
