Kirby turns 26 years old

26 years ago on this very day, Kirby's Dream Land released on the Game Boy in Japan. The world got its first glimpse of Kirby, who was quite different from what he is now! He hadn't yet turned pink, and he didn't even have his infamous copy ability! Still, that debut was enough to set the character down a path of success. Now here we are 26 years later, and Kirby is still reaching new heights, having just claimed the strongest debut month of sales in the U.S. in the franchises’ history with Kirby Star Allies.
