Switch accounts for 7% of Ubisoft's yearly revenue

Ubisoft has released their fiscal year data, and it shows just how much revenue the company makes from various platforms. For this fiscal year, Switch pulled in 7% of revenue for Ubisoft. That puts the Switch in fourth place overall for Ubisoft, behind PS4, XB1, and PC.

None of their multiplatform heavy hitters like Far Cry 5 have been released on the Switch (let alone at the same time as the other releases) so I doubt Ubsoft would be displeased at having 7% revenue from their existing support.

Ubisoft uses this to start pulling back on Switch support. <.<

And it looks like Switch is pulling equally from PS4 and Xbox users to make up that amount. I would have to say for hardware that's only a little over a year old, with only a few games from Ubisoft ON said hardware...and none of their "big name AAA titles"...for the Switch to be garnering THAT much of the companies profits is pretty damn nice. Now just imagine what the Switch could be doing for them if the Ubisoft AAA games were on the system as well?

Ok so 6% of ubosoft revenus are mario+ rabbids kingdom battle. It's the only new game they put on switch
https://www.ubisoft.com/en-us/franchise/nintendo-switch-games/
Mario kingdom battle sold 1.81m
Just dance 2018 sold 51k on switch
And rayman sold 48k (vgchartz numbers)
During the 10 first weeks
And just dance sale best on wii http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2017/10/more_uk_gamers_bought_the_wii_version_of_just_dance_2018_than_switch_xbox_one_or_wii_u
Ubisoft released south park (it's not on switch on their website)this fiscal year and... ? Is their any other games except starlink ?
I have a ps4 but the only ubisoft game I bought is mario+rabbids because I like strategy games. But I don't think they'll put a lot of game on switch even if they sale they'll find an excuse.

FYI vgchartz numbers are really unreliable. But you;re right that the sales are likely mostly from Rabbids and a bit from just dance + rayman

It's almost like putting fuck all on a console results in low sales.

Having 7% from pretty much one game is actually pretty impressive honestly...

True, but the cynic in me expects Ubisoft to see differently.

I bet most if not all of that is from Mario + Rabbids.

What's the bet 6.9% of Ubisoft's overall revenue on Switch is from of Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. Make some NEW games for Switch Ubisoft and make them same day releases as other platforms and who knows, they could double that figure next year.

I go back to Ubisoft's E3 conference last year, sure it opened with Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle but that was pretty much it until that mediocre looking title at the end, which still hasn't come out, Starlink: Battle for Atlas. Otherwise it was game after game that wasn't coming to Switch.
