Japanese retailer HMV to host preorder lottery for Nintendo Classic Mini Family Computer Weekly Shonen Jump 50th Anniversary Edition

As we said a few days back, the Nintendo Classic Mini Family Computer Weekly Shonen Jump 50th Anniversary Edition has already sold out in Japan. History is repeating itself, as this is exactly what happened with the Famicom Classic Edition. When this happened with the original Famicom Classic Edition, retailers started to host lotteries to sell units that trickled in after launch. That's happening once again, with HMV announcing lottery plans.

From May 14 to May 20, 2018 11:59pm Japan Time, HMV Japan customers can register for an online lottery for the chance to preorder the Nintendo Classic Mini Family Computer Weekly Shonen Jump 50th Anniversary Edition. Results will be announced before the end of May.
