Following delay, NBA Playgrounds 2 digital preorders being cancelled

NBA Playgrounds 2 was delayed just 5 days before it was set for launch, and now the game doesn't have a release date. Those who digitally preordered the game are now seeing those preorders cancelled. Some have seen this as an indicator that there's actually some trouble going on behind-the-scenes for the game. Saber Interactive has provided the following statement on the matter.

“Since the extent of NBA Playgrounds 2’s delay is unknown, we feel the right thing to do for our fans and players is refund pre-orders. (We have) incredibly exciting news for the game (and will) have more details to share soon.”
