GN Version 5.0

The following is a survey of 61 different indie developers about which platforms they like creating for and why.

- Switch was the second-most popular choice with 32.8 per cent
- PC remained the most popular among developers due to it being an open platform that's easy to release on
- devs like the curated Switch eShop, and think Switch has the healthiest market at present with a broad consumer range
- devs are designing for the Switch first as it presents the "biggest opportunity for indies right now"
- novelty, innovative features, continued excitement around the Switch, and indie success has attracted more devs to Switch

Unnamed dev #1

"Currently the Switch is the only platform where the race to the bottom on price hasn't really happened yet. We are releasing on PC first though, and expanding to other platforms later if it's sufficiently successful as it is easier to develop for."
