Pokemon Kaiju Mania campaign announced for Japan

Pokemon Kaiju Mania

- month-long event in Japan
- relates to “a Pokemon trainer who uses Pokemon that are more monster-like"
- this type of trainer values Pokemon who are ‘cool like Kaiju,' moreso than they are strong and are able to round out his team
- examples of Kaiju Pokemon include Slowpoke, Charizard, Snorlax, Tyranitar, and Hydreigon
- Pokemon Center and Pokemon Store locations across Japan will participate in the event
- from June 2 to July 8, 2018, trainers will be able to dress up like a Kaiju Mania and take photos near Kaiju photo spots
- you can also take a photo with Kaiju Pikachu
- Kaiju Mania themed Pikachu plush dolls and other merchandise will go on sale at Pokemon Center on June 30
