Splatoon 2 producer says "it's possible" that Inklings eat squid

Ever wonder what Inklings eat? No worries, as Splatoon 2 producer Hisashi Nogami already has some details figured out. As a matter of fact, one part of his answer to that question is a bit disturbing!

Veggies, birds, fish. Some bread. Inklings in this world are an evolved form of the squids in our world. Things like the food chain still exist. It’s definitely possible that an Inkling could potentially eat squids."
