EA says they've looked at/talk about cross-platform play for FIFA, but there are "a lot of issues to work through"

Fortnite has shown that cross-platform play is something that can be realized in today's games, complete with voice chat. Now the pressure is on for other games to do the same. Could we see EA offer the same sort of feature set with FIFA? Here's what FIFA creative director Matt Prior

"It's something we've looked at, and it's something we often talk about. There are a lot of issues to work through. I'm trying to be diplomatic here! There are a lot of issues to work through with various first parties. But Fortnite does that now with PC to consoles. From a consumer standpoint, it makes the community that much broader, which makes it that much more compelling."
