GN Version 5.0

We've got two tidbits about Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker to share, with one being interesting, and the other a bit strange.

First up, the codename for Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker's Switch port has been discovered through datamining. Turns out the codename is KinopioS. Kinopio is the name of Toad in Japan, so the name makes perfect sense. The Wii U version of the game had the codename Kinopio, so as you can prob guess, the Switch codename has simply had an S added on the end for Switch.

Now here's a bit of weird news for you. We all know Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker on 3DS/Switch is getting 4 stages based on Super Mario Odyssey. The bad news is, those levels are being added while all Super Mario 3D World stages have been yanked. That means 4 stages have been removed in order to add the 4 new ones. On top of that, almost all references to Super Mario 3D World have been removed.
