If you're planning on grabbing the Pearl and Marina amiibo for Splatoon 2, you can now see what special gear you'll get by scanning in the pair. Those who've played the Octo Expansion should be pretty familiar with these outfits! You'll also have the ability to take photos in either normal gear or Octo Expansion outfits. Furthermore, you can take photos on stage during Splatfets. The amiibo also let you enjoy Pearl and Marina mode when playing Squid Beatz 2, which will give the mini-game a different appearance and new sound effects, but no new songs. The Pearl and Marina amiibo launch July 13th, 2018.
