It seems like a good number of companies are now planning Switch versions of their multiplatform games, but Eidos Montreal is not one of them. When asked about the potential for a Switch port of Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Eidos Montreal lead game designer Heath Smith said the have "no plans" for that right now.

Not surprising. The previous games in the new Tomb Raider series have a very high graphical fidelity that the Switch wouldn’t be able to do justice to be honest.

I can see the new game, but both previous games were on Xbox 360. No reason they couldn't be ported to Switch.

Well they did port the first one to the Nvidia Shield which uses the same Tegra processor as the Switch https://youtu.be/My-5jD6EieA

I would've loved this, and it does disappoint me, but I expected as much.

Really wanted these on Switch at some point so disappointing. But I knew Square wasn't gonna port/make anything for Switch that doesn't have a chibi or 2D sprite design to it.

I love PlayStation and I love my switch. But there a no way in hell l switch would run that very well. The graphics are pretty insane on even the last game. I'm sure it could be downgraded but to the point of gameplay suffering.
