GN Version 5.0

Niantic is serious about keeping Pokemon GO safe from cheaters. They continue efforts to protect players on both iOS and Android platforms, and today we learn a bit more about the lengths they're going on Android. Turns out the game scans every Android device at launch to make sure its not rooted. A rooted device could lead to cheating/spoofing, which is why Niantic is eager to squash that activity.
