Nintendo Labo Vehicle Kit - New gameplay details, modes, and paint shop info

Nintendo is showing off the Nintendo Labo Vehicle Kit at Gamescom, letting people go hands-on with all the new Toy-Con. Gizmodo had an extensive session with the kit, and shared these new details.

- the game's adventure mode lets you freely roam
- you can explore to find/complete quests like helping cows find their way back to their corral
- you can also reunite a lost baby Loch Ness monster with its mother
- you can switch from one vehicle to another simply by grabbing the Toy-Con Key and dropping it into one of the other kits.
- the car can have dual sawblades
- the plane has a missile launcher
- the submarine lets you use a grappling hook
- the game's map has somewhere around 15 to 20 areas to explore
- Battle Mode plays out like Mario Kart's battles
- Slot-car Racing Mode lets you play with an old school car and track
- there's a paint shop that includes a spray can Toy-Con
- you can customize and tweak each vehicle’s settings
