GN Version 5.0

With the upcoming launch of the Switch Online service, a much-requested feature for Switch will become available. Those who subscribe to the service will have access to cloud saves, which should have players resting a lot easier about the safety of their game progress. While we don't have all the details on how these saves will work, we do have a few new tidbits to share.

- save files will be automatically uploaded to the cloud
- this will happen on a regular basis, but details on how frequently they're uploaded was not shared
- no action on the player's part is required
- this allows for progress to be backed up
- saves can also transferred onto other devices

In the case of Diablo III: Eternal Collection, the only data that won't be part of the cloud save information is leaderboard stats. Everything else will be lumped together and uploaded to the cloud.
