Pokemon TCG cards to see price increase in Europe due to tariff dispute, Russia to discontinue card releases/tournaments altogether

GN Version 5.0

Some of you might be aware of the ongoing trade dispute between the US and Europe, which is causing quite a bit of trouble for a number of companies. The tariff dispute has caused an addition 10% duty on a number of products coming from the US and launching in Europe, including Pokemon trading cards. This has forced the Pokemon Co. to increase the price of Pokemon TCG cards, which will go into effect on Sept. 10th, 2018.

Specifically in Russia, the situation has gotten extremely dire. The tariff issue has lead official distribution of Pokemon TCG cards to cease, and tournaments will be squashed as well.

Thanks to Gerjet for the heads up!
