If you ever wanted proof of just how far-reaching the world of Fortnite is, the following story should do the trick. A group of scientists found they were having trouble getting any attention on their climate change discussions, as they admitted a lot of the talk was "not fun." When trying to figure out how to gain some traction, the scientists came up with an idea. Since people like watching Fortnite, why not form a Fortnite squad that plays/streams the game, and also dishes about climate change while they play?

This all stemmed from one scientist that noticed her talks about climate change were getting roughly 1k views on YouTube, while her son's Fortnite videos were sitting around 10k. As you can tell, the rest is history! With over 125 million people playing Fortnite, trying to spread your message on topics your passionate about through the game doesn't seem like such bad idea!
