Sonic Mania Adventures Production Manager fuels speculation of more animation to come

Sonic Mania Adventures was a wonderful little series featuring Sonic and friends. The shorts drew a lot of attention and love from Sonic fans, and I think we'd all like to see more. While nothing has been confirmed in any way, shape, or form, the production manager on Sonic Mania Adventures has been the cause of some recent speculation on the series' return.

Above is an image of the production manager dropping in on SEGA's HQ, and while the purpose of the visit isn't explained, all the hashtags attached to the image have some thinking a new series is in the works. I don't think it's a surprise to see the speculation taking off, and I would imagine this sort of attention would be expected when considering the use of those hashtags. Whether something is actually going on, or fans are just speculating wildly, remains to be seen.
