My Nintendo Gold Points can be used to purchase a Switch Online membership
If you're on the fence about giving the Switch Online service a go, and a 7-day free trial isn't enough for you to really sink your teeth into the service, perhaps this option will tickle your fancy. According to a FAQ from Nintendo, you can use your My Nintendo Gold Points to purchase a Switch Online membership.
Gold Points can be used when purchasing a membership in the Nintendo eShop. They cannot be used for auto-renewal.
Might be a nice way to put some of those Gold Points to use! Give the free trial a shot, and then when you want to commit, pay your way with Gold Points!
