Question Mark Blocks spotted in Ralph Breaks the Internet trailer

Nintendo had some collaboration with Disney on the first Wreck-It Ralph movie, and it seems that's going to continue with Ralph Breaks the Internet. While we don't know how deep the connections go, we do see that Question Mark Blocks can be spotted in one scene in the new trailer. Will Mario himself make a cameo this time?

Thanks to Chris for the heads up!

I actually think they handled the use of video game characters well in the first one. Just enough recognizable characters that you know it's clearly a "video game world", but they focus on original characters that aren't already known by the audience. Also, we can't really know for sure what is explored in the movie based on promotional art and trailers alone. While I'm certain the movie will involve the Internet, and probably a few nods to the actual Internet, the story itself could end up being something entirely different. I'd expect more things like... ending up in MMO worlds or something, rather than say, "dropbox and candy crush".

Anyway, I have faith that Disney Animation Studios won't screw this one up, they've had a pretty good track record the last few years. If this were Sony Pictures Animation, or Illumination, I'd be worried. But this will be okay. Now, the Super Mario movie that Illumination is working on? Yeah... that's gonna be bad...

Too bad the movie looks like complete garbage. What a waste of the entire concept. Just like the first one the idea that these are supposed to be video game characters barely comes into play and is hardly explored. There were so many different plots you could arrive to that actually utilize the setting before landing on "let's make an unofficial Emoji Movie sequel". This should be Wreck it Ralph 9, not 2. Oh well.

I'm sorry what? Did we even watch the same trailer? This looks like a lot of fun in my opinion.

So that's where Nintendo Switch Online's "Special Offers" are hiding out.

what if they are from Alex Kidd and not Mario, huh?

What I would really like would be a decent game to follow up from this movie.
They could go 2d platformer or 3d platformer but its extremely rare it seems that any movie gets made into a decent game and are just around to pump people up for the movie.

To be fair Wreck it Ralph wasn't that bad on the 3DS. It wasn't a gaming marvel but it had its moments.

Anyone else really want a decent Wreck Ralph game to make its way to the switch?

It was kind of a shame there wasn't much to represent Wreck it Ralph other than that 3DS game and Disney Infinity. A Sugar Rush racing game might have been really fun.

Mario better be in this one.
