SEGA will 'consider' bringing Shenmue I & II to Switch

Were you disappointed to hear that Shenmue I & II weren't coming to Switch? I know I was! I would snatch up both games in a heartbeat if they'd head over to the Switch. Thankfully now it seems there's a chance it could happen.

In an interview with 4Gamer at TGS 2018, localization producer Hiroji Noguchi and localization director Eigo Kasahara were asked about the idea. Here's what they had to say.

Hiroji Noguchi: Personally I think it would be nice to play Shenmue on Switch everywhere … (laughs)

Eigo Kasahara: I do not know if it can be done, but I take note of the views of the supporters. Even if answering this request, I would like to consider it.

Let's hope this moves from consideration to confirmation very soon. I need to get back to finding out where those sailors are...
