How is a 6GB download “deceitful” when it’s listed directly on the box that you need additional space? Who’s being deceived? Words, what do they mean...

Also, the last thing I am as a Switch owner is starved for games, but I know you’re a slave to narrative. Your deceitful narrative.

Geez...this game was going to be the ultimate bomba without Star Fox.

That's one way to spin a failure as a whole. The game from what I've read did some things right, but it's very repetitious. You can add in buying toys to help you win and a deceitful 6GB day one download for physical owners as reasons to put people off buying it.

Switch Starlink owners have exclusive Star Fox content, it was heavily promoted, PS4 owners don't. Switch owners are starved of games, while PS4 owners have a plethora of new games to choose from.

[thinks PS4 has games and Switch doesn't]
[buys a Switch anyway]

Says PS4 has games and Switch doesn’t

Clarifies and says it’s about 1st party Switch games

Proceeds to list a bunch of 3rd party games for PS4 except for Spider-man

Glad I'm not the only one to notice that facet of his "clarification". But I'm sure he'll spin it into his narrative of the Switch not getting "proper" third-party support, where only western AAA games count.

Cheap would have been more accurate. They left it really late in the day to announce that there a mandatory 6GB download. There was some confusion over what was happening. Some people would have had the game pre-ordered long ago and not everyone would have been aware of the download.

Also, my comment was more in relation to 1st party Switch content. It's been very poor this year. This is story is talking about in connection to the UK charts, just looking at the top 20, nevermind the top 40, PS4 owners have COD Blops 4, Spider-Man, Soul Calibur VI, Tomb Raider, WWE2K19, GTA 5, The Evil Within 2, all of which aren't on Switch. And that's what I was referring to in my comment.

If this is the part where I counter with a list of Switch games in 2018, too bad because I’m not going to play that game with you. I’m not going to continue to justify the Switch to you, especially since you’re not actually interested in discussion and all you want to do is needlessly shit on everyone else’s good time because you’re a miserable person. You come to every single discussion in bad faith and I’m sick of it. Either you want to open your eyes and see what’s around you, or you don’t. It’s not my job to educate you.

I hope this tells Nintendo that there's interest in the Star Fox series, if given the right treatment. I hope we see a full series revival on Switch, since Zero did a lot right but its controls boggled it down for many.

Exclusive content that some have said is so well done that it’s basically a Starfox game plus the fact that Nintendo has always been a good home for the toys to life category (with amiibo still doing well) pretty much ensured this would do best on Switch. Not to mention that an expensive game like this was always going to have a tough time going up against CoD, Red Dead etc on the other systems.

Probably should’ve just been Switch exclusive from the start.

They probably started it on PS4 then added on the Switch later in development. I'm hopeful devs start focusing more on developing primarily on Switch to make better use of the Switch's unique abilities and not whether it looks like a downgraded PS4 game.

Wow it sold 101%. That star fox is selling

I haven't even touched the StarFox part of the game yet. I'd rather try the game they made originally first.

The toys-to-life genre has seen a sharp decline in the last few years, and Starlink could be seen as part of that genre. So in general, I expected this game to sell as tepidly as it did. That is, before they Starfox content was announced. It’s very clear that’s what people are here for. I wonder if the Switch version’s sales will be enough to make this project a success all on its own?

I would buy it but i will not support a game that needs a 6 GB download to play the game Sad

And the characters are extremely ugly (except Star Fox).
