Who's ready for a 2-hour podcast? We've got a little New Segment, Cool, some sponsor talk, TONS of Nintendo news, my ramblings about Spider-Man and more, plus music trivia and plenty of weirdness!
Your thoughts on RDR2 mirror my own largely.
It's an absolutely beautiful game as far as graphics go. But as for the game play itself, it doesn't feel like anything that hasn't been done since several console generations ago.
That's not to say I'm not having a lot of fun.
But BotW totally stood open-world game design on its head and created something new in the process, RDR2 is cookie cutter "Go to this point on the map."
It's a beautifully crafted game that does what it does very well (if not slow and disrespectful of the player's time quite often), but never tries to do anything new or innovative.
