The Japanese name for Smash Bros. Ultimate's 'World of Light' mode hides a Kirby tribute

When Nintendo showed off the trailer for Smash Bros. Ultimate's World of Light mode, we learned that absolutely everyone on the roster was decimated...minus Kirby. It's no surprise Kirby survived, as Masahiro Sakurai has quite the sweet spot for the character. I mean, he did co-create Kirby after all! While there's no doubt Kirby survived due to Sakurai's love of Kirby, it turns out there's even more of a Kirby tribute going on with the mode's name.

The Japanese title for World of Light is Tomoshibi no Hoshi (灯火の星). By reversing the kanji and read its onyomi (original Chinese reading of Kanji used in Japanese), the name becomes Hoshi no Ka-bi (星のカービィ). As you might recognize, that's the name for the Kirby franchise in Japan. This was a very deliberate Easter egg from Sakurai, and just goes to show how closely he pays attention to all aspects of his projects.
