Nintendo Canada wants to know how you pronounce King K. Rool

You know the character's name, but how do you say it? It seems people at Nintendo aren't even sure. Check out this interview snippet from Walmart Canada and Andrew Collins, Communications Manager at Nintendo Canada.

WC: Do you mean K. Rool? [Note: I pronounced it ‘cruel’]

AC: Yeah, that’s the one I was talking about. I wanted to hear how you said his name because we’re still trying to figure it out. Is it ‘Krool’ or ‘Kay-Rool’ or ‘Ka-Rool’?

WC: What do you think his name is?

AC: I’m thinking Ka-Rool, there needs to be more research on it though. [laughs]

I'm guessing most of us got the K. Rool/Cruel pun. You know how RARE loves their puns! That said, I never actually pronounced it any other way than 'Kay-Rool.' I'm really curious to hear how you guys say it!
