Not sure if it happens for anyone else, but there's some weird audio issues going on with Sonic 1 for both videos. Green Hill's music keeps changing in volume for brief moments.

EDIT: Gave it another listen. I think the sound effects within the games are causing this.

Doesn't happen for me.

Still plagued by bad sound emulation like a horribly long sound effect delay

It is interesting how different the effort is M2 (Sega Ages) puts into porting Mega Drive games compared to d3t (Collection).

Also the difference between a massive collection using standard emulation across the board and an independently released title that is customly fine tuned though.

50+ titles running well enough at $30 is pretty good for most people, I imagine.

I agree that it's reasonable not to expect perfection and tons of extra features from a collection that offers so many games for such a low price, but Sega really needs to be more careful when it comes to protecting the image and value of their brands.

I have not played this one so far, but i remember the PS360 collection which also had a ton of games at a low price, and it was easily noticeable that the emulation was a lot worse then what the Wii's Genesis VC offered.

If there are really still significant emulation problems with this version, i really think it would have been better to try to acheive better quality with something like 40 games at 40$.
Also, if there is really significant room for improvement for the emulation quality, they should not have wasted resources on creating that 3d kids room menu. It's a cute idea, but it shouldn't have been a priority.

Sonic's Signposts are still glitched... But at least some games like Phantasy Star sound perfectly fine which is what I'd get this for to begin with, due to the fast forward feature
