First details on Tottori prefecture's Sandshrew Festival revealed

The Pokemon Company and the Tottori prefecture in Japan are hosting a Sandshrew Festival campaign from Dec. 6th, 2018 to January 14th, 2019. While the Festival was announced a couple weeks back, we finally have details on what those attending can do.

- Sandshrew and Alolan Sandshrew mascots are appearing in meet-and-greet sessions in Tottori
- a stamp rally will take place in Tottori
- collect stamps by visiting tourist attractions and you might win a special prize
- prizes include a Sandshrew Sand Statue Figurine by Mortar Magic and Times Sandshrew Letter Set by Inabi Washi
- take a Pokemon GO AR Photo in Tottori featuring Pokemon or the beautiful scenery and upload to Instagram/Twitter
- use the hashtag #sandoidetottori and you might win a prize
- prizes include an Alolan Sandshrew Sand Figurine by Mortar Magic, 10,000 yen gift voucher, and 3 Times Sandshrew Letter Set by Inabi Washi Cooperative Industry
- check out the sand sculpture featuring Sandshrew and Alolan Sandshrew in front of the museum near the Tottori sand dunes
- special and exclusive Sandshrew merchandise will be offered at local businesses in Tottori
- from December 6 to January 19, 2019, Sandshrew and Alolan Sandshrew encounters in Pokemon GO will drastically increase
- Sunaba Coffee (sand coffee) has changed its name to Sando Coffee (Sandshrew Coffee)
- find Sandshrew artwork and decorations at all Sandshrew Coffee locations in Tottori
- special Sandshrew Coffee menu items and merchandise will be offered at all locations in Tottori
