RPG Maker MV's Japanese release requires you to play for 180 days consecutively to unlock everything

If you thought unlocking all the characters in Smash Bros. Ultimate was a pain, get ready to have your head spin.

RPG Maker MV unlocks content for those who play consecutively for 10 days. That's what players thought based on the info available on the Japanese website. That is indeed true, but on the 11th day, players found out something else. Turns out there's a whole new set of rewards to unlock, and it requires players to play for 170 consecutively to get every reward. That's an insane amount of dedication, leaving fans extremely displeased with Kadokawa Games. Hopefully this is changed for the NA/EU release!

Why would you do that. People have bought your game, any you want them to do ridiculous things to unlock everything? Not only is it awful game design, it's incredibly disrespectful to the player. Let's hope the publisher for the English release works this out.
