- teaser site launched
- game will release in China sometime on Jan. 8th, 2019
- collaboration with NetEase

Pokemon Wicked Ramen heading to South Korea

- collab between Pokemon Company and Oktokki Project
- Wicked Ramen is a popular Instant Ramen in South Korea
- flavors will include Pikachu (Curry) and Snorlax (Soy Sauce)
- box of five packs goes for 9500 won

Pokemon: Let's Go's real-life calligraphy

- the hanging scrolls in Saffron City’s Fighting-type gym were painted in real life
- a professional calligrapher wrote the words in traditional Japanese style
- the words are gibberish and don’t have any actual meaning in Japanese
- they were then scanned into the game
