Hyperkin working on HDTV-compatible light gun for NES
Retro game fans have long known that the NES Zapper simply doesn't work with modern HDTVs. What's a light gun fanatic to do? Hyperkin is soon going to offer a solution for all those hungry to jump back into their Zapper games on HDTVs with their Hyper Blaster HD. The Hyper Blaster HD will be shown off at CES 2019, with the following details have been shared in advance.
- Play Duck Hunt for the NES with a light gun on an HDTV (original Duck Hunt cartridge and NES required)
- Includes special Hyper Blaster HD light gun
- Includes Hyper Blaster HD Adapter to allow HDTV compatibility
No word on pricing or release date for the Hyper Blaster HD yet, but those details should be made available at CES 2019.
