Dragon Quest XI S - more Japanese voice actors revealed, game will include new scenarios

GN Version 5.0

Square-Enix just held a special live-stream event for Dragon Quest XI entitled, “Dragon Quest XI S Channel: Cast Announcement Feature #1.” The focus of the stream was to reveal Japanese voice actors lending their talents to the game. The list of voice actors includes the following.

- Protagonist (voiced by Mitsuki Saiga)
- King Carnelian (voiced by Sugou Takayuki)
- Hendrik (voiced by Rikiya Koyama)
- Jasper (voiced by Takahiro Sakurai)
- Amber (voiced by Mami Koyama)
- Chalky (voiced by Kenichi Ogata)
- Prince Faris (voiced by Nobunaga Shimazaki)
- Kainui (voiced by Yuichi Nakamura)
- Michelle (voiced by Ai Kayano)
- Atsuko (voiced by Emiri Katou)
- Atsuo (voiced by Emiri Katou)
- Miko (voiced by Toa Yukinari)
- Queen Frysabel (voiced by Yui Horie)
- Krystalinda (voiced by Miyuki Sawashiro)

In an interesting tidbit of info, the devs pointed out that players can turn off the protagonist's voice acting if desired. The list of actors above is the second wave of voice characters to be revealed. Check out the original announced batch below.

The last bit of information on the game comes from Dragon Quest series creator Yuji Horii. During the live-stream, Horii announced that Dragon Quest XI S will feature additional scenarios. We don't know what these scenarios will be about, but it was confirmed that this content will not be post-game related.
