RUMOR - Detective Pikachu film sequel in development

Well I guess Warner Bros. is very, very confident in the success of Detective Pikachu. Word on the street is that a sequel is already in the works. Here's the details, coming from The Hollywood Reporter.

- Legendary has begun work on a sequel to Detective Pikachu
- Oren Uziel will handle the script
- Uziel has worked on the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog film, Men in Black International, 22 Jump Street and The Cloverfield Paradox, and the upcoming Supergirl film
