Czech retailers list Assassin's Creed III + Liberation Collection for Switch

There have been rumors of an Assassin's Creed collection coming to Switch for awhile now, but today we get something a bit more concrete.

A number of Czech retailers have put up listings for Assassin's Creed III + Liberation Collection on Switch, complete with the cover art above. They show the release date as Feb. 15th, 2019, which is most likely a placeholder date. Hopefully Ubisoft comes out and confirms this collection in the near future.

Hell yea. I have AC3 on Wii U (and liked it despite what many others say) but never played Liberation.

Yes, another win for Switch, great to see third parties putting their best foot forwards with Switch support.

Old ports is hardly putting their best foot forward. You can buy Assassin's Creed III on Wii U for around €5. This is likely to be a full price release.

The rumor mentions the collection to be priced at 35$/35€.

Ya silly me, I seen that and yet forgot.

I don't think the Wii U got the Liberation downloadable game, though. I might be wrong on this, however.

I was being sarcastic.

If this does come to be, hopefully it includes all the DLC packs.

I remember enjoying this game, but it's one I just have no interest in revisiting.

I’d prefer the Ezio trilogy. AC3 was the game that put me off AC until Origins. I found it incredibly boring and the main character was so wooden. The setting had such great potential.

Played AC III to death on my Wi U back in 2013, even bought the join or die edition. Never played Liberation though since that wasnt on a Nintendo system. So I'd be down for the latter but I'd feel weird paying again for a game I already own and played lots on Wii U.

I wonder how they'll fit both games on one cart considering AC III on 360 was already two DVDs, likely two dual layered ones so it must be about 16GB by itself. If it means having to download Liberation and owning on cart only the game that I already own on Wii U then no thanks. I'd rather have a standalone retail release of Liberation if that was the case.

Oh boy! More ports! Who needs third parties to make new games?

If it's priced like the RE Revelations port and spruced up a little I'm glad we finally got a proper Assassin's Creed on Switch. I never had a chance to play it on Wii U.

Why 3? Why not 1 and 2? I might have tried it out if 1 would be ported to Switch.

I don't get why everyone here is mad. This is exactly what I wanted when the 3 Remaster was announced for other platforms. Also if this does come out as early as February we are also getting a NEW Trials game the same month.

If it REALLY is February, it needs to be announced ASAP so retailers can receive per orders, why any retailer is likely showing it early now in concern of getting pre orders in time, so I could see a Direct or separate announcement this week.
